How our programs work
High-level description:
We field standalone, anonymous and voluntary hazard-identification and process-improvement reporting systems. Think of us as:
- a unit-level risk identification tool that actually works
- an independent, unbiased, external risk monitoring process
- a continuous survey system
- as one end-user put it, "a suggestion box on steroids"
Our approach:
All of our reporting programs are fully-supported, end-to-end systems that require an absolute minimum of in-house support.
- Frontline managers are free to focus on issues, without having to munge data
- Frontline personnel can convey issues absent names or electronic footprints
- Departments need not assign collateral duties to support the program
- Organizational leadership can learn what's really going on... minus any filters
Program overview:
All of our programs employ a process similar to the one shown below.

What we provide:

The value of a unique perspective:
We also provide expertise (and perspective) gained from working with multiple fast-paced, high-risk, little-margin-for-error domains.
- Best practices (civilian-to-military and military-to-civilian crossovers)
- Lessons learned (many professions are more similar than people realize)
- Organizational issues (leadership everywhere deals with retention factors)
- Risk mitigation strategies (sometimes an "outsider's perspective" is useful)
End-user comments:
Commanding Officer:
"The system provides a ‘fresh’ perspective on reports being made w/in the command. There are not many inspections or assessments in the Navy or safety program that provide an ‘outside look in’ approach. Working with an organization outside of the Navy aviation chain of command has been both useful and refreshing.”
