ROI

Return On Investment

High-level description:

A lot of vendors make claims about the guaranteed benefits of using their products or services. We're not like that. What we know, and what we can provide, are real world examples of the types and kinds of information that we've collected in the past. Will our system identify, and then prevent, all untoward events, not a chance!  Will it provide frontline leadership with frontline inputs not readily available to them from any other source; you bet!

High-level results:

We make no assertion that using one of our programs will prevent "XX%" of problems from occurring.  We will however, emphatically state that our programs have demonstrated an ability to get people that are normally "disinclined to report" to willingly identify hazards and other types of issues.  Issues which if not corrected, were very likely to have led to, or significantly contributed to, damage, injury, or in some cases, the potential loss of life.

End-user comments:

Commanding Officer:

"It's like getting a mini-safety survey every two weeks."

Commanding Officer:

"The system provides a ‘fresh’ perspective on reports being made w/in the command.  There are not many inspections or assessments in the Navy or safety program that provide an ‘outside look in’ approach.  Working with an organization outside of the Navy aviation chain of command has been both useful and refreshing."

Emergency Department Program Sponsor (MD, MS, FACEP):

"Bottom line is that this is the first system I’ve ever witnessed that actually collects sufficient quantities of data from the frontlines – not just from the supervisors, and not just about events they feel obligated to report – to allow meaningful conclusions to be drawn about how to improve the safety of the system. This system was incredibly effective in the Emergency Medicine environment."

Residency Director (MD):

"The fact that the data is processed and comes to me in a meaningful manner made all the difference – as opposed to a database full of data that is hard to make sense of."

How would you like to spend your time?

 Actively addressing hazards, or...
                                              reactively investigating mishaps?
