What makes us different
The problem:
Most reporting programs are designed for standardized output, not easy input. We believe this makes them underutilized and ineffective.
- input formats need to conform to software-based analysis algorithms
- input topics are narrowly constrained and not always aligned with user issues
- data sets need to accommodate software-based reporting functions
- the focus is on "enterprise management"... not "unit-level" issues
Our solution:
We relentlessly focus on: 1) making things easy (and jeopardy-free) for frontline personnel, and 2) capturing useful "Unit-level" info.
- time-to-report is targeted at 5 minutes (or less)
- information is solicited anonymously and voluntarily
- we serve as the independent, third-party, "honest broker" analysis team
- we provide simple, pragmatic, easily-understood issue breakouts
Sample results:
To date, we've fielded successful systems for a variety of high-risk, fast-paced, little-margin-for-error domains. A partial list:
- Naval aviation (3,000+ reports from 5 squadrons in less than 24 months)
- Emergency Medicine (300 MD reports in just 15 weeks)
- Physician-In-Training Evaluation System (300+ evaluations in 15 weeks)
- US Navy fast-attack submarine community (no public information is available)
Examples of how we're different:
We recognize the need to answer the question: "What's in this for me?" or people (at any level) simply won't participate. We have:
- an understanding of cultural issues that preclude "open communications"
- a demonstrated ability to connect with folks that are normally reluctant to report
- an unabashed willingness to aggressively advocate for end-users
- an appreciation for the time constraints on today's management personnel
We're more upfront than most:
We completely understand that we may not be a good fit for every organization or every management style. Some questions we'll ask:
- Are you simply looking for regulatory compliance? (That's not us... really!)
- Are you committed to process improvements? (You'll need to be.)
- Are you truly onboard with a non-jeopardy approach? (That's how we work.)
- Are you numbers-driven or "comment-centric"? (We're very much the latter.)
We're committed to making things work.
We provide more than just deliverables. Most of our customers find our level of engagement to be very unique in today's business world.
- a lot of things can be said about us... disinterested isn't one of them
- we believe that software is only part of the equation... not a standalone solution
- lending advice and expertise on sustaining usage is a large part of what we do
- we strive to make our system worthy of our users most limited resource... time
